Health Plus Aquatics
Program
Health Plus is located in Auburn and is run by
EAMC. It offers a variety of water programs year round in an indoor
heated swimming pool for both children and adults. I have heard from
many parents in the area good remarks about their swimming
lessons for children.
Auburn University
Aquatics
Auburn University has
several indoor swimming pools and allows people to come and swim during
their "open pool" hours. If you are a student at the University then
you can swim at no cost. For the general public the cost is $2 per
visit per person or you could purchase a membership which was $60/3 months
or $220/year when I asked about it. There are significant discounts
for the second and third person in a family if you choose to get multiple
memberships. You can contact the Aquatic Center at 844-2482
for current price information and pool schedule.
Auburn
University also offers swim lessons for children and adults. For
more information on swim lessons contact John Asmuth at
844-4759.
City of Auburn Summer Pool
Schedule
The City
of Auburn pools are open during the summer. There are both season and day passes available to purchase. For prices and schedule call Dean Road Recreation
Center at 501-2930.
Opelika SportsPlex
Opelika has a sportsplex that also offers a swimming pool and swimming lessons. Check out their website for more information.
