Drop in Basketball:
For ages 18 and older
Tues and Thurs 9am - noon & 3 - 6pm
Friday 9am - noon
Sundays 1:30 - 4pm
Get a fun workout as you play a game of basketball at the Frank Brown Rec Center on Opelika Rd in Auburn. All games last 15 minutes or 12 points. 

Dance:
Teen to Adult
There is nothing like dancing for burning those calories while having a lot of fun. You can find both Line Dancing and Swing Dance classes that meet free of charge for the general public at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center here in Auburn. They typically meet once a week at a predetermined time.  For times and more information check out our Calendar of Events or look at the Park & Rec Brochure.

Handball Club:
13 years and older
Monday - Friday 6 - 7am
The East Alabama Handball Association teaches and promotes the game of handball.  If you want to learn or play handball, bring your gloves and join in at the Frank Brown Rec Center.  Batting gloves and/or racquetball gloves are mandatory.  For more information contact Fred Fox 745-7886 or Charlie Mundy 821-5836

Tai Chi for Arthritis:
For ages 14 and older
This program is available free to the public through Auburn Parks and Rec periodically. This form has been developed especially for those with arthritis and has been documented to relieve pain associated with arthritis.  It has preventive health benefits for people of all ages.
