Bowden Park
Bowden is a nice small park tucked away on a little street between Samford and Thach. Here you will find
a toddler swing, a jungle gym, play equipment, a grassy area and a picnic table. The play equipment
consist of stairs to climb up, two slides, and a climbing wall. The play equipment is easily manageable by smaller children, but still gets tall
enough to not be such a bore. Underneath all of the play areas is nice soft sand
which is great to walk in, but has a few too many pine needles in it to be great for sand castle play.
Lending all those pine needles is a wonderful large pine tree which stands in the middle of this park and lends shade on hot days in the summer.
There are no restrooms or water fountains at Bowden Park.
